Hi Folks

Hi Folks,

I've just popped my Alfa cherry (one of my tickboxes there). I previously owned an old rusty Rover but due to having to run a business I needed something a little more shiny for customers.

I got myself a 2001 2.0 TS 147 Lusso and very nice it is too. However being a 10 year old car it has some niggles and so I find myself here. The bonnet catch was a big surprise - unfortunately...

I think I'm gonna get one of those leads from RareBear or Ecufix and download the AlfaDiag software to go checkout those gremlins. Unless someone in the Doncaster/Scunthorpe area has one I could look at first before I commit pound notes.

Thanks all for this site.

Cheers guys and gal.

Just waiting on that cable now... got a cheapie from Ebay, so I hope it works... I have the infamous Motor System Control Failure which I now suspect is a sensor although I need to find a way to test the battery by the looks of comments on here. Also the cruise control doesn't work which would help save a bit of fuel on the motorway trips if I can get it going. Only other stuff is suspension bushes which I would hope isn't too tricky and may improve the already very nice drive :-)
