Marital Status
Single some of the time, single parent the rest!

which cars do you drive and why?
Alfa GTV 2.0TS – my daily 70 mile round trip and when I'm single, have wanted one since they first came out and couldn't believe how cheap the one I found on ebay was last week! Too good a deal to miss!
Alfa 156 Sportwagon 2.0 JTS when in single parent mode (me 3 kids and all their clobber won't fit in the GTV very well!)

Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo?
Well I've been an Alfa owner for the last 15 years, knew they were the cars for me about a minute into the test drive of my first one (164 2.0 TS), the GTV bought last weekend is number 4 Alfa, 164 Twinspark lusso, 155 V6, 156 Sportwagon Velose and the 2.0TS GTV

What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo and…
As I said as soon as I started the test drive of the 164 I was smitten!

Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?
Am in the Cloverleaf club, will probably be adding AO and AROC after payday

What do you like most about Alfas?
Best engines this side of the silly money supercars, the 2.0 twinspark 8 valve was fantastic in the 164 and the 16 valve in the GTV best of the lot the V6, the 155 could still beat a Skyline from the lights when I sold it with 160 000 miles on the clock and at least once held off a 928 accelerating away from a 30 zone

What do you like least about Alfas?
As Jeremy Clarkeson once said the electrical systems can sometimes be an exercise in random curiosity!

What would be your dream cars?
8C Competizione in Alfa red

What car would you least like to drive?
Anything Ford make (except maybe a GT40)

For you, what’s the most popular thread on AO?
Only just joined so don't know yet!

What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?
Sedona to Flagstaff in Arizona, the section where the road climbs through a series of hairpins from the Sonoran desert to the Colorado Plateau best of all. Guess it'd be in a well sorted GTV (way to hot for a soft top!), think the nimbleness of a 2.0 would be the best though would like the power and sound of the V6!

What interests do you have outside of Alfas?
Sailing, skiing, photography, learning new stuff

If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?
Biggest racing yacht I could find for the money!

Only 2 of em at the moment, both would be better if they were Alfa red but can't have everything!
