Afternoon all

Long time Alfa owner, 164 T spark 1995-97 till some muppet t-boned it ignoring the red lights, 155 V6 1997-2005, still got the 2l JTS 156 sporwagon bought in 2005 for when the kids are with me and just bought a 2l TS GTV for when they are with the Ex.
Looks a great forum I've found here and I'm looking forward to exploring it.

Yup! Knew I'd found the cars for me inside about the first minute of the test drive of the 164, that was confirmed as a good choice as I was sitting rather dazed by the roadside after the crash (hit side on by a Saab doing 40, went through a mature beech hedge, set of iron railings and bounced off a few trees before stopping), traffic cop said he was amazed I wasn't still in the car dead or seriously hurt given how bent it was!
155, don't think I really need to say more than V6 do I?
Sportwagon, well maybe not the most practical of estate cars but then the rest of them aren't Alfas are they? Does a perfectly good job ferrying around the kids, sacks of chicken food, camping gear etc.
GTV, had forgotten how good the twin spark 2l is, made the 164 a rather quick beast for a car that size in its 8 valve incarnation but the 16 valve in the GTV is fantastic.
