Alfa Romeo 33 veloce cloverleaf
I am new to this forum but the reason is that I want to try and get my garage cleared!
Let me explain- for the last 9 years, my son has an old Alfa Romeo 33 veloce cloverleaf car stored in my garage planning to do some work on it but now at last he wants to sell it. And would accept a reasonable offer if buyer collects. I realise that this may not be the avenue for announcing this but this car may be a bit special to the collectors - perhaps?
It is a black E Reg but not sure of engine size (poss 1700?)but we have got the log book filed away. Sadly it is not running and has no MOT. It has been stored in the garage and I believe the tyres may need some attention if it is to be moved.
However when my son first got the car some 9 years ago he did start to spend some money on it. He had the car re-sprayed in Black (it does look good from a distance) and had some work done on the engine and it was running well. He also had a Thatchem alarm fitted as he was told he could get it insured easier. Unfortunately in the process of the engine work, a small hole developed in the petrol tank and the car has not moved since. I believe the inside has some rust - but I am not an expert on this.
I have some pictures of the car taken a few years ago before it was put into storage which make give an idea of how it looks.
For someone who has the time, tools and equipment this would be a great car to work on.
