145 Cloverleaf

'97 GTV 2.0TS owner..Hi Folks!

Hello everybody!
Picked up my GTV from the Bay of E a few weeks back; a cheeky bid and a trip up to Middlesboro and I'm back in the land of the Alfisti
I'm a 40 year old Petrolhead, working as a Maintenance Manager for a Feed Milling company. I've had Alfa 33 Cloverleaf, 75 V6 and always fancied a GTV; it's a 2.0TS in met. dark red, wearing 147 17" wheels; showing 120k with recent works including cambelt and all the gubbings, some bushes to the rear, engine service etc. Next jobs are: Billies/ Eibach suspension, remaining bushes polybushed, SERIOUS brake works (possibly 305/ 330 discs with Wilwoods or the like, dunno for defo yet) and a turbo conversion. Once I can get the sunroof working (yup...), the door check straps changed ('CRACK' owwww!) and the crap paint on the boot dealt with, I think it'll make a cracking little runabout! Heck, it's fun NOW, so once the rubbing whilst cornering goes, and I can actually STOP and GO like I want, I'll be WELL HAPPY!
I also have a Toyota Celica GT4 Carlos Sainz undergoing resto (400bhp), a Merc 190 that's getting a Toyota V8 (350bhp), a Volvo 850 AWD (Rapid Labrador Transport..even tho we have a tiny Terrier! lol), my wife's mk3 8v Golf GTi (awaiting 16v conversion) and a '77 Kawasaki z1000with a 1395 motor (awaiting a strip/ rebuild/ supercharger)...I love engines!!
Hope to have very many chats etc with all; feel free to ask about forced induction cos I love it (I still occasionally build drag bikes for mates, all turbo and all street legal) and spannering in general: if I don't know the answer, I can usually find out
Oh, and if it ever helps anyone...I speak fluent German too (should I mention that today? COME ON ENGLAND!!!!)
