Welcome to AO Danny. The selespeed isn't a bad system but it does suffer from a few problems. I would suggest getting a manual as its more reliable. The links at the top of the page should help. Trade directory for all stuff tuning although eb spare and autodelta are excellent in my book. Loads of meets all going on all the time. Look down the forum pages in the events section to find local and national events. Hope to see you there soon mate!

Welcome to AO Danny

Take a look in the 147 model lounge and I am sure you will find many threads and posts discussing the Selespeed system.

The selespeed is good when it's working, but can be extremely expensive to repair when it does go wrong..... And it probably will . As a newbie, unless you've got heaps of cash play it safe and go for a manual. Also check when cambelt was changed to save on another big expense.
