Possible purchase

I am currently a Skoda Octavia vRS TDi driver, its a 56 plate with 90,000 on the clock, apart from a couple of cracked windscreens its been a reliable car, now I am looking to replace it and the Brera certainly has the looks but does it have the reliability, I will be looking for one that's less than a year old and low mileage, preferably diesel, so as it will be my own car, what the reliability like, does it eat tyres and what MPG can I expect bearing in mind 95% of my driving is motorways.

Hi Dwain

ALfa + reliability?? MUCH better than years ago, but once you have an Alfa............well lets just say once youve done black there's no going back! You WILL always love them.

Have a look in the appropriate lounge and I'm sure you'll find just what you're looking for -info wise.

Good luck, Jill

Things are not looking good for this purchase, its a fantastic looking car and my heart says buy one, but my head is being turned buy the fact that it seems that tyres need to be replaced every 10,000 miles, I always put decent rubber on my cars, so that would cost a small fortune, bearing in mid I do in excess of 25,000 miles a year, I get 30,000 out of the fronts on the Octavia and my claim to fame at the dealership is that at 90,000 miles I am still on the first set of break pads, going for 100,000. If I fine one that's a year old at the right price who know's!
