Old Alfisti joining as new member
I wish to introduce myself into this board which is new to me. I have had more than fourteen Alfas (all kinds of models) which I have thoroughly enjoyed over the past thirty years. I have not had an Alfa for the past five years since I sold my GTV and planning on non-involvement during retirement. Recently I got a very serious case and was very sick the the dreaded "ALFISTI SICKNESS". There is not any cure save getting involved with Alfa ownership. I found a very clean 1986 Spider and am changing some things such as clutch, brakes, etc. I guess I am back!!!
Lived in California, US, for more than sixty years and moved to Norther Arizona (yes, Arizona does have snow at 7,000 ft.) for retirement. Flagstaff has about ten or so Alfas and its population does grow by several when people from Phoenix come up for the summer months.
Glad to be back and I do belong to other Alfa boards including Alfa Romeo Bulletin Board & Forums
. Happy to report I am getting up to speed on Alfa's again since I really enjoy working on them.
I need to find out what is happening in Europe as far as the Alfa world is concerned therefore I have joined this board. Hope someday we do import Alfa again into the U.S.
