Potential newbie 156 owner

Hi all great site thought I would ask you guys for some advice if you dont mind....I apologise as I suspect you have answered this question a million times though!!
I am looking to purchase a 2004 or later facelift model 156 2 litre jts ....have found a couple of possibilites both around the 43k mile mark with fsh and look to be well cared for, what are the main issues I should look for when buying a car such as the ones above....weak spots or known problem areas are what concern me....any advice would be appreciated the car will be used as a well loved 2nd car and do fairly lowish miles

Hello and welcome to AO.......do a search in the 156 lounge and I am sure you will find plenty of advice.....the advice I have used in 3 months of membership has allready saved me time and money, far more than the initial cost. Plenty of good laughs as well.....

Chris on the forum is you man (his username is just 'Chris'!). Do a search for him or check a couple of threads. He repairs keys but can also stick in badges if you need them. He repaired and rebadged my 147 key and a good job he done too.
