Hi to all in the Alfa community, I have already taken advantage of many of your technical help threads.
I have recently purchased a very pretty 1996 red gtv 2.0 ts with 101,000 miles, it seems to consume vast amounts of cash , it has been stationary on a customers drive for over a year and i thought that it would look much better on my drive!!.
After carrying out a full service myself, (shock at the spark plugs ££ but good for 60k so value in the long run, used magnatec oil ?? not selenia is this a good choice?? had all belts tensioners and variator done based on the communities good advice, a heater resistor was next as no fan this sorted then petrol flap button seized in the gap probing with a screwdriver not a great idea!!!, but a alfa breaker came to the rescue at a very reasonable cost and very propmpt delivery thank you! an easy fix as it turns out !!, the cable for the drivers door release snapped another fairly easy fix, now the central locking will not lock from drivers side and i haqve a noise that sounds like a wheel bearing on the front right wheel but goes away when on the ramp a question for the technical boys.

The alfa is used as a toy and the driving experience is very rewarding but i need a bigger bank balance!!
