Mooney Bonjour mon petit pois

Hi there, I'm new to this whole forums thing so I'm kinda feeling my round at the mo
What can I say, I have love hate relationship with cars. Love em when there working, hate em when there not!!! So did I make the right choice buying a Alfa 156? Please, please, please let it be a yes I scream to the Afla gods

The car drives as you all know...lovely. Great drive and so comfortable on the long runs. Which is a bit of a killer when i'm coming of night shifts trying to stay awake on the way home.

Me old car bit the dust and I happened to come across the 156, 70,000 on the clock with pretty much an new engine with the servicing the guy did. Slight ding on the side and the always lurking car door impact from a car park numpty. Love it really but i'm feeled with a unnamed dread.

Super bad reputation for reliability. Two days after buying i've had to get a Diagnostic tool to read the engine management lights blinking and staying on me dash board. But elsewhere for this subject. Come on guys tell me I've done the right thing by going with my heart and not the head

Any ways it's good to meet you like minded crazy Alfa people laughing in the face of the blinking dashboard trying to convince yourself it's not as bad as it probably is

Cheers and take it easy.

Nice one guys. I do love that car. I need to fix a few things. Bodywork. Got a good deal on it but it came with a few dings. Just been reading a few of the threads on warning codes etc. Good info and same symptoms for my motor. Seems that the sensors, thermostats and airflow seem to be at fault for a fair few things.

Good food for thought though. Hope all is good on your end.

Anyways, cheers for the welcome.
Take it easy
