Hi to one and all. Its time for a change and I like the look of the 159 saloon.
Petrol or diesel would do. Just need to know what to look out for regarding faults (characteristics) All advice welcome

I've had mine for 2 weeks and 1000 miles. Its a 1.9 oil burner. I'd like a bit more power to be honest, but it was all I could afford. I prefer the torque of a diesel. Not sure what the new engines are like, I'd ordered mine before they were released. You'll hear that 159s eat tyres, but as far as I can gather the bigger the wheels, the bigger the problem. I run the standard 17", but a 19" Ti can get through fronts in 4k miles. There are also reports of the DPF clogging up if you go for a diesel. I had a big problem with this on my last car (not an AR, too embarrassed to say what it was!), mainly caused by too many short runs where the car doesn't get up to temp.
The quality of the standard stereo is suspect, and there is precious little cabin space for 'oddments' - nowhere for a standard sized water bottle for example. But they do look fantastic.......
