Hello everyone, been meaning to introduce myself for a while now as i have had my Alfa (2.4JTDM Brera) for almost 2 months now. I absolutely love this car despite it breaking down within 4 weeks of ownership, luckily it is warranted!
I have for the past couple of years been a Jap car fan (still am) and my last car was a Toyota Celica GT4 ST205, which although i adored that car i just wanted something newer. Now i must admit i wasn't intending to get an Alfa but i had always liked them so went to look at them out of curiosity. When i saw the Brera, i had to have it!
So after selling my Toyota, my bike (Buell XB12S) and getting a hefty loan i was the proud owner of an Alfa!
A bit more about me, I'm 26, live in Folkestone Kent, and I am a CNC machinist for a small local engineering company specialising in security search and bomb disposal equipment. So if anyone needs a mine extraction kit or a lightweight ROV, they know who to ask!
I do have just one quick question to ask. After washing my car yesterday, i have noticed the paint has gone funny on one of the front arch's. The car is black and the paint has gone grey in places and looks quite badly pitted. I have no idea how this has happened and was wondering if Alfa Romeo has some sort of warranty on the paintwork? I don't think its covered on my 1 years warranty from the dealer i got the car from.
Has anyone else had a similar problem with their paintwork?
