Newbie to Forum & my new Brera

Thought i'd say hi, as I'm a newbie to the forum.

Been an Alfaholic for 4years now and last week traded in my '55 GT 1.9JTDm in for a ex demo Brera SV 2.4 JTDm Q-Tronic in Ghiaccio White with black leather & 18" darkened star wheels from Palmers in Hemel Hempstead.

Received great service from Palmers who arranged for retro-fit heated pads for the seats (a sticking point for me when deciding to buy the car)

I bought the B&M adaptor and successfully installed software 5.4 and really happy with the functionality of my iPod which sounds great through the Bose sound system.

Still having fun getting used to the car and the novelty of the Q-Tronic box, but seriously alarmed by the fuel economy- only getting a max of 35mpg driving it 'nice' on a 47mile motorway journey to work
Was getting 50+ out of the hoping the Brera will improve with time.....any thoughts?

Hello and welcome

Congratulations! You have a beautiful car!

I think the Brera is stunning in white! It's good to hear you got a decent service from Palmers

Hi there - your Brera looks great in white - can't be too many of them around in that colour
? I'm sure your enjoying it. Can't comment on the fuel consumption, except that it isn't as bad as the V6!
