Cry Like A Baby With great pity

I have been the owner of a 1996 Alfa GTV 2.0TS for some time now. Some idiot has recently not checked his mirror whilst manouvering his blob of a citreon picasso and hit my rear near side wing.
My insurance are now writing the Alfa off due to the repair bill. I am now going to end up with a cheque, probably enough to buy myself a box of hankies to wipe away the tears, after the XS has been deducted.
The car has a genuine alfa rear boot spolier in red, black leather Alfa embosed interior seats in good condition, the V6 style alloy wheels, and 6 week old brand new rear brake calipers and pads(at a cost of 400 with bills to prove).
I am looking at trying to sell on prior to the recovery truck taking the gem away.
Any other working part that could be exchanged on my Alfa, for a broken part on someone else's Alfa will also be considered for a small fee.
I live in the area of manchester. Look forward to hearing from other owners.
PS. I'm not bitter with my insurance company, but they aint getting one over on me.

Welocme to AO. if you have not done so already be sure to post this in the North West Lounge. You could try the the GTV technical lounge as well. Oh and write an ad for the classified section.
