The 156 is a great car. I would highly recommend the V6 flavour - either the 2.5 or the 3.2 GTA. Very serious cars! Get one with service history and make absolutely sure the cam belt has been done. Alternatively knock the price down and get the belt done yourself. Other than that, look out for squeaky suspension bushes and heavy clutches. The 156 can also suffer from rust spots on the leading edge of the roof, just where it meets the windscreen. If you are going for red, check for fade especially on the bumpers. Awesome cars though.
