This weekend I got my first bill for my recently acquired 147. I hope I donít get many more, eheh!
Please note that I drove a company car for 3 years that cost me nothing to run, so this was a bit unsuall to me...
Anyway, I got my car recently and although I had a general idea it is in good shape I wanted to check how good exactly it was. So a friend of mine tipped me to take it to Alfarama, in north London to have it checked. I must say, I was quite pleased with their services.
They confirmed the car was very good generally speaking, but it needed a few fixes nevertheless:
the heat shield was damaged and they got it replaced; the exhaust pipe was loose (the rubbers that hold it were broken); they also aligned the lights and replaced one of its motors; fitted a hands free kit at my request; two undertray bolts were replaced.
I was also lucky to go there so soon, because they find out that the sound deadning felt on the inner belt area wheel arch cover had worked its way to the belt area. Yeah, I was also confused when they told me, but then they showed me and things became clear!
On the same day I also changed the rear tyres but did not get any deep pile 147 mats as suggested by GTV Bertone (some things can wait)!
So there you go, a bill that I still donít know how to fully explain to my partner!
