I've (finally) succumbed to the Alfa bug!
Whilst looking for a new (for me) car I stumbled upon a beautiful 147 Lusso (metallic silvery-green & red leather interior) on an 02 plate.
Cautious of Alfa's reputation for producing less-than-reliable motors, my brain immediately shouted "WALK AWAY" but, caught like a rabbit in the gaze of some 1950's screen siren waiting to chew my inexperienced **** up and spit me out (if I'm not mixing my metaphors?!) I instantly froze and heard myself whispering dreamily "...but she's so beautiful...".
I checked this forum for advice & things to look out for and to make sure I wasn't about to make a big mistake. I was comforted & convinced by the amount of enthusiasm of everyone involved and contributing to the forum to help each other out. (In hindsight, this may seem a bit like considering shooting-up and asking a group of druggies whether its a good idea.)
Anyways, thanks to your collective enthusiasm I'm now the proud owner of an Alfa which I collect on Saturday, about time I bought a proper car after all my previous [anonymous cars].
Thanks to all involved in the forum for convincing me its the right thing to do, you realise now this is all your fault...
