Greetings from sunny southern California. My name is Rich Truesdell, and while I am not currently an Alfa Romeo owner, I am an Alfa Romeo enthusiast. I am also an automotive journalist. In the UK my work has appeared in both Octane
and Classic and Sports Car
and I am a regular contributor to Classic American
. I also edit a website called Automotive Traveler
, which is why I am introducing myself and writing today.
In the General Alfa Discussion forum I am making a more detailed post about my need to connect with the first owners of the MiTo. If I can secure an owner or owner's driving impressions along with publication-quality images, I am planning on showcasing the Mito onlinelater this week.
If you can help, or direct me to any of the first lucky MiTo owners, please E-mail
I'm looking forward to contributing here as over the years I have photographed many noteworthy Alfa Romeos. I'm going to attach an image to my introduction, a photo of the 1961 Alfa Romeo SZ (Sprint Zagato) Coda-Trunka that was voted Best of Show at the recent Desert Classic in Palm Springs. High resolution images of this car and other Alfa Romeos are available in the automotivetraveler.com image gallery
so I hope that many of you will visit. If you see yourself as an aspiring automotive journalist, I hope that you will contact me about contributing Alfa Romeo (or other unique automotive content) content from the UK.
Have a great day,
Editorial Director, Automotive Traveler magazine, automotivetraveler.com
