Greetings Fellow Alfa owners
Hello- I'm just getting back into Alfa world after too long of an absence. I' ve owned a few of the late sixties/early seventies GTVs and Duetto Spiders, as well as a Berlina or two. Just last week I found (Craigslist) and purchased a 1991 Alfa Romeo 164 L in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition. The one thing that bugs me about this particular model , and I've not experienced this before, is that the black plastic interior trim pieces (especially the overhead console surround and seat switch housings) are very sticky, like the "plastic" is decomposing or something. What is the best way to address this problem and treat it so that it won't reoccur? I have a feeling that this might be a "common problem". Ideas??? Thanks very much, Paul, Providence, R.I.
