which cars do you drive and why?
Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 V6 – one of the most beautiful cars on the road. Always wanted one & had the opportunity to buy one so just did it!

Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo?
My wife tells me I love the car more than her…..i say maybe sometimes ;-)
What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo and…
….do you think it’s fundamental to own one to have the passion?
The looks. Simple as. They are all beautiful in one way or another. Since I got my car the noise of the V6 is awesome too. I don’t think it is fundamental to own one to get the passion.
Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?
Considering it, not sure what it gives you!!
What do you like most about Alfas?
Every morning I sit in traffic on the edge of Coventry and look around at all the other cars that people are driving & just think why the hell would I want any of those instead of my GTV? Its beautiful, rare, fast sounds awesome & beautiful (did I mention that!)
What do you like least about Alfas?

What would be your dream cars?
Maclaren F1 (I ask father Christmas every year but nothing yet), Maserati gran Turismo, Ferrari F40
What car would you least like to drive?
I hated my old Mk 5 Golf 2.0 TeDious. Awful boring box of a car, but I never ever ever want to own a people carrier or mpv or ‘softroader’.
For you, what’s the most popular thread on AO?
I love the pictures of peoples cars.
What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?
Destination: Round trip to Italy & back
Passenger: My best mate (I would say my wife, but she doesn’t like the noise of the engine – see below!)
Music: the glorius V6
Would have to take in the Frejus Road Tunnel (8 miles long mainly for the soundtrack) & the alpine roads around northern italy.
Any humorous Alfa or car-related stories you wish to share with us?
My father-in-law & I arrived at his house at the same time & I nicked his spot, he insisted I parked my car accros the road so he could park up on the drive (not a problem). I moved the car & then went out with my wife (was girlfriend at the time). I came back about an hour later to a massive great dent in my passenger door. My father-in-law had gone out again in his car & reversed straight into my car where he had told me to park!!
What interests do you have outside of Alfas?
Football (Grimsby Town FC & playing), Music – V fest again this year, motorsport – might take a jaunt to le mans this year, not sure yet.
Tell us something nobody knows about you. (E.g. special skill, ever been on TV, etc)
My gtv reliability scares me, even though I tell everyone that it’ll be fine!!
Do you have a party trick? If so what is it?
I don’t really have a party trick, but I do know the words to nearly all of Rhiannas songs despite not having the CD or really liking the music!!

If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?
I’d hire a race track for a day & buy 5 cars for me and mates to go and race!
