Greetings all Alfa owners/fans/enthusiasts/nutters!
I finally have a chance to upload pics of my QV, cant say new, coz I have her for going on almost a year now, but none the less, her she is.
Its a 96/97 QV with 97k miles on the clock and still purring as good as ever. Was looking around for a decent one when 'returner' pointed me in the direction of this little baby for sale by Lloyd, the owner of Clovertech in Dagenham www.clovertechuk.com
It was the best advice I got, went to view her the Wednesday, I reserved her and picked her up the Saturday. Turns out Lloyd had bought the car off one of his customers and he had been servicing her for the last 5+ years, with receipts to prove it including all the belts, etc etc. I was sold!
Since then I installed some decent Alpine ice - 6.5 inch splits in front, 5.25 coaxs rear, 12" sub and 1000w amp.
Its almost a year now of driving and even though I've been reading all the posts and forums about various things going wrong with other ppls 145's, touch wood, but the only issues Ive had was slight judder on the front wipers, rear wiper motor seizing up and a faulty boot sensor. So all in all, a brilliant buy thus far, she drives like a dream, clutch, gear changes, motor, all tip top and she just keeps purring! Just had her fully serviced by none other than Lloyd of course last month, front and rear wiper issues all sorted and shes going better than ever....
Thats enough from me....heres some pics.
