Just got a year old Q2 Sport from a dealer.
Had a few probs and just not getting sensible or even credible answers.
We're just trying to understand if:
A. we picked a bad dealer
B. we picked a bad car
C. a combination of A & B
D. are being taken for a bumpy ride
1. We have a slight vibration/rattle from the gear lever accelerating in 3rd. Which of these answers have you heard?
1a. We have been told, by our dealer - there is no problem.
1b. We have been told by another dealer - there is an Manufacturer's service note out to all dealers on this, it relates to a vibrating fuel line and can be easily reolved.
2. The window switch set fitted to the drivers door armrest is a very poor fit. (Even worse since it we refitted due to the windows dropping open overnite.)
2a. We have been told, by our dealer - this is normal, it's not a good fit..
2b. We have been told by another dealer - they should fit flush and tight.
3. We purchased an ipod connection as part of the 'deal' - the dealer fitted it. Then we bought an ipod - played for 2 hours then went flat as apparently the 147 lead doesn't support charging for all ipods.
3a. We have been told, by our dealer - you bought the wrong ipod, go back to Apple and tell you you want the one that works in 147's.
(Apple had a bit of a chucckle at that one.)
3b. We have been told by Apple - there is an newer lead or we could fit a £19.53 off the shelf adaptor to alow charging of any ipod.
So . . . are we being naive, are we expecting too much or have we been sold a lemon by someone who couldn't care less?
