Drunk Alfa virgin

Hi Guys,

Just got a 2006 159 2.4 JTDm and thought I'd join up to discuss the inevitable problems! Car is a thing of great beauty, but have a few issues like a notchy third/fifth gear, slightly soft handling, and just recently have noticed a rather horrible noise on morning startup - like a pulsing, pumping noise - any ideas?

BTW, I am from Belfast, NI - any others out there? I actually bought the car from Palmers in St Albans, as there are few to choose from over here. Previous car a Leon 150 FR mapped by Angel Tuning which was a quicker car! I got the Alfa mapped by Auto Tune in Ballymena, but only got another 10% power/torque .
