Not sure what the form is as I've never been a member of a forum so here we go.
I have a 156 2.0 Litre T-spark Sportswagon, which is great but I am really keen to know how it might be improved performance wise while ensuring it does not make life a misery for my wife and daughter. I've loved Alfas since having a 72 1750 GTV before getting married 5 years ago and the Sportwagon has been a great compromise between a decent comfortable car for the family that looks great and is fun to drive.
However, it can be a bit frustrating; the sluggishness below 3000 rpm is key to these. So, my first investigation will be to see how this can be rectified; I've heard mention of lightened flywheels, sounds expensive, should this be coupled with a clutch change? Maybe the forum will reveal all!
I've joined the forum because whenever I search the web for info on Alfas I always come to this site and was compelled to join, I hope in time I'll be able to contribute but for now I'll probably just be a bit of a leech. I'm sure this is not acceptable so I'll try and make it up some how.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer and all the best, I hope you've all had a great christmas and are looking forward to your New Years.
