Hi, I don't own one, but I am a fan
It will be years til I can get an Alfa, but I am very interested in learning about them in the meantime. Based on my research, Alfas seem to be regarded as the closest thing a regular person can buy to a supercar, in terms of fun driving.
I currently drive a Nissan SE-R that I bought used for five grand a few years ago, which is pretty fun for an affordable car.
Not that Alfas can't be affordable... if you are yourself a good mechanic. I am not, sadly.
By the way, speaking of Japanese cars, what do you Alfa drivers think of the Mazda RX-8? Those of you who have driven them?
How does it compare to a classic (or new) Alfa?
I figure if Jeremy Clarkson, the grumpiest petrolhead alive, says good things about the RX-8, there must be something good about it. He also loves Alfas, so I'm guessing there might be something about the somewhat unpopular wankel that is reminsicent(sp?) of an Alfa.
