I want to share with you my first experience with Alfa Customer Service France. After 2 years and 6 months this is the first time I have contacted them. Firstly to change the address of Romeo Magazine they send me. Secondly to discuss a little bit more about Recall information and my intermittant engine light.
As for the Recall, they seemed to be aware of my car and it has had an update during one of the services and say it is up to date. On teh engine light, I explained that this has been an ongoing intermittant issue and I was not comfortable taking it into a garage without first having Alfa acknowledge it. Since it is out of warranty, I am not willing to pay a garage to hit the reload button every time or even just start replacing parts at my expense.
The Customer service representative was polite and indicated that he has opened a file on my car and will be contacting the garage nearest to where I live regarding the issue. My understanding is that the garage should be contacting me. So first phase, "Contact with customers services" seems good. Second phase is garage contact and visit.
