i'm the new boy on the block...
In mid April i killed my all-day car in a dump accident....well wasn't dead actually but about 6000€ repair bill made me sell it to some verry-south-east-guy for 5000€.
Have to say that car's like this were sold at around 12.000€ here, but the Dealer would've given me only 7000€ without the Damage and with ~15.000km less on the clock.
So i got away blue eyed, but without a car....for the first time since 3 Years...this realy sucked.
My old car was a 2003 2nd. Generation Nissan Primera 2.2dCI (4Door)
featured some quite cool stuff:
- ClimateControl, BC, SatNav
- automated whishers & dimming mirror (miss the mirror the most)
- a phenomenal Engine (Nissan shure knows how to build a Diesel!)
- 17" Alloys
just to name a few of the stuff which is different to my new bought Alfa.
As i like to go a little sporty round corners the car got a new suspension, i went for the Eibach Pro-Kit & KYB AGX dampers, verry verry nice daily ride but verry stable at cornering and to cope for the sometimes a little higher speeds the Brakes got upgraded with EBC - Green Stuff, not that it was actual needed since the Breaks were increadible (which other sedan stops from 100kph to 0 in 37m?)...but as i told you i fall for the sporty stuff....
And as you may see i am not realy happy to have it sold, but it had to be the way it is now.
And as i fall for the fast stuff ich fall for the Alfa 156 2.5 V6, altough i have to admit that i got into it just because it was fairly cheap, it has a few flaws but overall it's verry nice, comes with black leather and at least it has a ClimaControl...but i have to say i don't like the suspension, it is to high and the dampers are to soft :/ (will change maybe...
And as i fall for the sporty stuff the Alfa has a tough stand....right next to it sits a 1989 Nissan 200sx which is getting completely rebuild (by myself)...even stock the little 4 banger is a tough opponent for the little itallian stallion
> actually the 200sx is 4,53m long (makes the alfa look little
Plans for now, trying to get used to the engine, keeping an eye to oil consuption...enjoing the sound from time to time (sadly enjoyment comes hand in hand with a big glup out of the gasoline bottle...)
if you guys have any questions feel free to ask oh and btw:
try to take a look at this thread, maybe someone can say me if my "feeling" is right or not.
