the last 1 cost me thousands and thousands, inc the cam belt snapping. I said I wouldn't do it again, but I have!! a 166 2.5 v6 sportronic (the last one was a 3.0 Sportronic). Guess what currently laid up with a dead coil pack, after costing £400 to get through MOT (all new brake pipes, 1 wishbone, 1 cracked spring (is this common my old 1 went through several??) and a new windscreen!!!! (under insurance I paid the excess). Apparently when the old owner said the only problem he had ahd was the internal mirror falling off he neglected to mention that the attachment that fell off comes attached to the windscreen and when he glued it on he muist have applied alot of force as he seems to have damaged the inner laminate which had a crack in the sunstrip that I wasn't bothered about until it grew at the MOT testing station to a crack on the inside of the screen approx 18 inches down intom the line of sight (UUUM?). Needless to say the tester and I didn't get on too well.
