South West 166's

Hello everybody,

I've just found this forum after many years of Alfa ownership and it looks good. This is my first post.

I'm one of the few 166 fans out there and I have had 3 of them (a 156 in between the 1st and the 2nd). All 3 have been ex-demo's cars from various dealers and all have been loaded with all the toys, sat nav, gsm phone etc. So I've accepted the massive depreciation to enjoy owning these cars. I cant think of any similar priced car that I would rather drive even after 9 years of sitting in front of the same dash's I still love it. I would swap it for a Quattroporte though if I had the cash!
I have had the facelift model for 3 and a half years now and have still only seen 1 other in the South West. Any others here?

My Alfas: Alfa 156 2.5 SP2, Alfa 166 3.0 Super, Alfa 166 3.0 Sportronic Lusso, Alfa 166 3.0 Sportronic Ti, Alfa 159 1.9 JTDm SW, Mercedes E320cdi Sport

Re: South West 166's

Welcome - Glad you found us.

The 166 is a great car, plenty of fans on here. I recently sold my 3.2 Ti to another forum member.

Check out the tech section for plenty of chat with like minded individuals - I think you will be one of the first Auto Ti members, some argued recently that it was not an option - I put them right

Re: South West 166's

Hi there! As Ray said above, pop into the South West lounge and say hi!

I've only seen two other 166's, one of which is in the Totterdown area. Not sure if they are on here though!!

Enjoy the forum
