I'm a lapsed Alfa fan, had 9 of them for the first 18 years of my car owning life, then growing family, dogs, caravans and living in the muddy countryside prompted a move to my other long term favourite - Land Rovers.
However, watching Top Gear the other day made me think that something was missing in my driving life - a quirky, sometimes troublesome Alfa!
Boxer engined Suds, Sprints and a 33 were most commonly on my drive in the past, so it would be nice to find a good affordable one of those if they still exist, though the missus has taken a shine to the GTV. Just have to see what the piggy bank can afford. Nice to see that there are still plenty of enthusiasts out there.
It would be interesting to hear your views on what makes a good enthusiast's Alfa these days, and how supportable the older suds, sprints etc are - I recall spares were becoming difficult to come by when I parted with my concours Sud Green Cloverleaf some years back.
