Hi all-skint alfa convert !
Hi all,
I am seriously considering an alfa of some description.
I have always loved the appearance of alfas and nearl bought a 156 last year but passed on it sadly.
I have always been a fan of bmw,s(owned about 9 in total) - primarily e34 m5's (89-96) I have owned 3 m5,s) which i still maintain are the best drivers car ever built with a fantastic combination of power,handling and comfort but with none of the toys in the later models-IE traction control and other "nanny items".
Basically I lik my cars raw and fas and I like to drive them to their limits as much as possible.
However due to now being skint I cant afford to run such money pits and really fancy something like an alfa 75, I am curious to the running costs,best model etc etc and any othe info you can give me.
Also I have something which may be of interest to you all, I have a mate with a workshop in Suffolk and behind it are a few "barn find" gems, inc IIRC a 75 but it appears to have some kind of wide body but looks gorgeous, what appeared to be a 60,s spider of some desc and an alfasud.
The above are all sitting there and gathering dust and may be available for very little money, if anyone is interested please pm me and I will find out more.
