Proud owner of a red 156 2.0JTS, except...
... it's broke already. Less than a month after buying it, it is sat on the drive with a non-working clutch. Hopefully only a master-cylinder problem, but would love to hear anyone's thoughts...
Clutch bite-point was very near the floor ever since the test-drives, but then a few days ago there was no bite-point at all. Pumped the peddle and it was back to normal. Next day the same, but more often. Having struggled to get it home, I stopped to back onto the drive and it stalled because I couldn't engage the clutch. A few mins of pumping the pedal and trying to get it out of gear eventually worked it free, so then I could start the engine again. Got it onto the drive, and now waiting for my local non-alfa specialist garage to come and collect it.
Oh well, the joys of owning a red italian sports car. I'll post this in a techie forum somewhere.
Cheers. Jerry.
