I bought a 1967 Alfa GTV in 1967 against the advice of about everyone who drove sports cars. Porsche, MG, Jaguar etc ,these are sports cars. I drove them, gave them a fair shot but the ***** had something about it. It felt right,it had class and it could outhandle anyof the others. I drove this car for thirty years, put over 240,000 miles on it and regret selling it. In all those years it had two valve jobs, one radiator repair and multiple brakejobs ,tire replacements (always Pierreli Centeratos) and regular maintenance. Most either don't believe this or write it off as an anomaly. Two accidents and serious rust led to my selling this marvelous automobile. I could not afford a comprehensive restoration and so we parted company. If,,if I should just happen to win a lottery there are three or four Alfa's I will buy in a heartbeat A 1967 GTV is top of the list.
