Bought an Alfa yesterday, now what happens?
Hi all,
Just bought a T reg 156 2.0 Ltr Lusso for 1k.
I think I've got a bargain, but will let you know if and when it falls apart on me!
Had a Renault Laguna 2.0 before this, which was fun, but am now in the "big league" of Italian cars. Only a tad worried so far.

Now then, does it have any service history? The cam belt, balance belt and their associated tensioners need to be changed every 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Re: Bought an Alfa yesterday, now what happens?
The car has full service history up to 102k, with the all important cam belt change done at 67k. 112k on the clock, which I think works out at 12k per year.
Couple of questions though.......do I need to do another cam belt change at this stage, and if so does anyone know a good alfa specialust in Hertfordshire?
As always, any help greatly appreciated

If it was only done at 67k then you need a change straight away.

Welcome aboard mate!
Yeah, get the cambelt changed as soon as you can if I were you, it's a bit over due at the moment.
Once you've done that though you are pretty much all set to head out on the road and start owning it!!!

Re: Bought an Alfa yesterday, now what happens?
Just got the cam belt changed, and it sounds a lot better than it did before, if that's possible! Thanks for all the input, much appreciated.
