159 Sportwagon

Chilling Hello

I'm probably not the first to start with an apology for lying in my sign-up details...I will soon be the proud driver of a 159 Sportwagon (2.4 JTDM), but it will be on Contract Hire and I currently drive a Skoda, so I'm not sure I have any right to post as an Alfa Owner!

Assuming I am not banned from the forum before I even take delivery (around 15 July...it's in the docks...I cannot wait...), my greetings to those of you who were fortunate enough to achieve a dream machine before me.

Like many posting here, I suspect, I really wanted the 3.2 petrol Spider, but with three daughters under 13, two seats and a summer hairdryer just wouldn't work. In addition, the tax was better on the smaller oil burning engine, so I went for the car that felt almost as much fun, but in a sensible wrapper.

Any tips/hints gratefully received.

Re: Hello

Hi - I have the same issue as you - I wanted the Brera, but I couldn't stretch that far, so went for a new GT Q2 Cloverleaf which I could JUST afford outright.

I also lied - I'm not technically an Alfa owner yet, but I consider it a done deal!!
