I have recently purchased a 1996 GTV 2.0L for a bit of fun and so far its been great.
I inadvertently have blown something in the electrical system however so I'm looking for help. The problem started when I was cleaning a connecter in the passenger footwell, under the edge of the heater system. It was covered in Green stuff due to an old water leak and I accidentally connected two pins which sparked, opps!
I knew I was in trouble. There are about 6 wires in this connecter.
The injection light is staying on and the car wont start. there is also no code light appearing at any stage.
Any ideas?
All fuses that I can find appear to be okay, that includes the one 7.5 amp on the bulkhead under the bonnet, the 40amp in the boot and all the fuses I can find under the steering wheel.
If the code light isnt even coming on what might be wrong?
