I'm delighted to say I picked up my new car today
I jumped out of bed this morning and headed over to Black & White garage in Newbury. I handed over the keys to my part exed Saab 95Aero Estate (250BHP...but no soul!) and happily paid my dues and became an Alfa owner for the first time! The car had been nicely valeted and they also carried out a full service and changed the cambelt. The car has done 39K miles, but i assume the cambelt change was done as the car is 5 years old.
My first impressions are really all about the way this car makes you feel. I love the way the car feels complete...as though they developed the whole car together as a package and not just married a good chassis with a good engine (if that makes any sense!). And what an engine

- I also like the way that the traction control seems quite unobtrusive. (The traction control on the Saab would come in far too early

).
I'm hoping this is the start of a long and happy partnership!
If anyone has any good pointers or tips to help towards a happy GTA/Alfa ownership experience I'd be keen to hear them.
I'm popping out to get some milk now....I feel I may be gone sometime
Cheers,
Zak
