Hello,
My name is Graham.
I am the proud owner of an Alfa 156 SportWagon 2.4 JTD Veloce 04 Reg.
She is metallic black with grey leather interior.
I bought the car in October 07 (I traded in my X reg Subaru Legacy 2.5 Estate) from Arnold Clark Fiat in Aberdeen (where I used to work when it as Alfa / Fiat).
Since then it’s been a love love relationship, however the car is about to go for its 3rd visit to the garage to get fixed (I bought an extended warranty with the car, which I have fully covered already).
The first fault was a hole in the turbo causing it to lose power when accelerating, 2nd fault was a dead rear wiper motor, and then 3rd fault i suspect is ether the same or a similar turbo problem as when I accelerate over 3000 ish RPM i loose all power and this is the case unit the car is turned off and back on. This slightly sucks as I am down in London at the moment and driving back to Aberdeen, however I should save a bit of fuel on this trip back.
So hopefully it will all be OK again next week.
My family and I are planning on moving overseas next year and I am investigating taking the car with us, but I don't think that there is an Alfa dealer where we are going so service will be a bitch. So it might turn out to be a brief love affair with my Alfa.
Any how that just a bit of an Intro.
