New Kid 159 ti wagon
G'day all.
Just dropping a line to say hello and introduce myself.
I've recently purchased the above (2.4jtd) but am a seasoned Italiafile - I have an Integrale and a Punto too so am well versed in the art of understanding Italian automobilia.
Thanks for the info you've all shared so far to help me through a few issues.
The car's covered 1500 miles upto now with the following problems :
Driver's wiper missing the screen (just noticed the arm has chipped the bonnet too where it's been catching !!)
Driver's door handle sticking up, resulting in door not closing properly (it's also moved forward a little and chipped the front wing!!)
The bodyshop that fitted the roof rails and front and rear valances have made a right mess of all of it too. And they broke the seat trim. Grrrr.
It's going back (to Meridien Milano, Bournemouth) next week to sort everything, or else :-)
Otherwise, the car is great. Very nice to drive, slowly or quickly and so unique too.
Currently looking into double din sat nav/ipod/bluetooth toys and thinking about the Angel tuning chip too, for improved economy of course (currently running around 30mpg on a mix).
