My 159 ti seems to love the pirelli P zero nero tyres, so much so that it looks like I will need 4 come my first service in august, I've only covered 8400 miles since new and I don't try to pull 5 G into the corners, I understand that ultra high performance tyres don't last for ever but at under 10000 miles front and back seems like it's going to cost £900 a year just for rubber............................
Have been looking for the couple of weeks and it looks like nobody manufactures harder compound tyres for 19" wheels, which seems obvious really! if I had got 2 years out of them it wouldn't be as bad the wife is not hp as she's still pining after the GT we chopped it for the Ti but it's got to be the best Alfa I,ve owned so far out of 5
gone through 3 pairs of tyres in a year through wear only done nearly and a odd one was needed last week when i noticed a massive nail 12500 miles! i never learn about 1/4 inch away from tyre wall. it has only done 1000. cost me £1155 in 13 months! spirited and enthusiastic driving with a lead foot = fun (and money)
