Just signed the paperwork for my 1st Alfa - a 53 plate 156 1.8 Sportwagon in sexy red. 57k miles, full Alfa history, £4995 (good price??)
I love cars with a bit of individuality - had a couple of Saabs which I loved, then a couple of years ago, in a fit of panic over running costs and petrol prices I bought a Ford Focus. Very nice car, went well, cheap to run and reliable. But not a car you could look out of the window at and say "see that car, that's MINE" and be proud to own, y'know?
So whilst looking for something small, economical and diesel for my Missus, I spot this 156 Sportwagon in a local dealer. "Yummy" says me! I'd looked at a couple of 147's, but as a gigging musician there was no way I'd fit guitars, amps and a PA in. So what better than a small, but sexycool estate!
Downside to this particular one is that the dealer's now off on holiday, so I can't get my new baby til 7th June
In the meantime, whilst de-installing the phone kit and iPod dock from the Focus, I'll try & glean as much info as I can from you guys, make sure I know what I'm letting myself in for. I'm already scared the cambelt's gonna snap, and the bonnet's gonna flip up...
