Selespeed faults Help!!
Hi all
my 2001 Alfa 156 2.0 ts sportswagon has developed some annoying faults all relating to solinoid/hydraulic i think .The warning light and buzzer are on from moment i turn on ign i am able to select 1,2,3,4,5,R and 1,2,R when engine is running but car stationary!But it often looses drive normally when slowing for rounderbout or junction most annoying plus dangerous ?? once or twice done this whilst coming down from 5 to 4th at speed just for it to lock between gears ie no drive fake N . Every time these faults occur results the same lost drive with hydraulic clunk clonk frenze like its gear searching
ANY IDEAS?????????
