Another newbie...
Hi everyone,
New to the forum, I have a long and dubious history with Alfa's and have owned 166, GTV6, etc and currently own 2 x 156's, one's a red 98 manual with go fast bits, the other is a 2001 Selespeed (oh, the humanity!) - both are 2 litres as owning V6's is prohibitively expensive with the price of gas here in NZ.
I've owned the Selespeed for all of 12 hours, it's black with black leather - nice car, but I bought it with Selespeed gremlins. The car jumps into neutral - I have it booked in with the local independant Alfa workshop next wednesday.
I've read that Sele's can be sensitive to battery problems - does this include high current draw stereo systems (not the doof doof variety, I'm a sound quality sort of guy)?
Anyhow, looking forward to interacting with people who don't ask why I bought yet another Alfa...
What could possibly go wrong??
