Don't think the 156 suffers more from electrical problems than any other car.. Its mostly Bosch components anyway, so same as what you get in a Vauxhall, Ford, Beemer, etc etc..
There are the usual sensors that can fail like crankshaft sensor (£20) and air flow meter (MAF - £80 or so), but other than that the 156 is generally pretty good. Mine's a right beast and gets driven as it was intended, for a ten year old car with over 100K on the clock I can't fault it at all, its never let me down (touch wood)..
