156 2.5 v6

156 whats it worth?

hi all just woundering if any1 could give me a rough estimate as to what my alfa is worth its a 156 2.5 v6 in silver with full black leather black dials, black carbon effect on dash with the big spoiler on the boot and standard clover like alloys, there is a few bits which i am currently getting done to it but will be done before i sell it they are new maf and air pipe which goes from there to the engine block, air bag light is on and the seat belt lkight is on permanently the spoiler has a split in it from where a car wash nearly ripped it off (haha) but the overall condition is very clean a couple of scratches and the inside is very clean with full service history and has 95000 miles its a 99 t reg if sum could give me a rough guide to what its worth when all the work is done and the way it stands now i would be very greatfull ....cheers.....

Re: 156 starting problem

Could well be the Air Flow sensor. My 2.5l V6 did all sorts of weird things until I changed the sensor. It would idle OK but have to really coax it to get higher revs, once it got to 3500, it took off like a rocket up to redline. Interesting driving the V6 with an ON/OFF throttle around the M25 to get it to the service centre!! There are plenty of threads on the Air Flow meter on the site, just search. Easy job to do yourself too.
