Newbie to Alfa's says hello
Hello all.
I would like to say hello to all. The forum looks great and I hope over time I will be able to add some value.
A bit about myself. Im a family man born and bread in Essex. I work for the Post Office as an Accountant in London.
I spend quite a bit of time in Shropshire as the wife and I both have family in that area.
Over the years I have owned some 40 odd cars of various makes and types, but this is the first Alfa I have ever owned.
I love messing with cars and usually get bored with them once I have finished getting them to the way I want them. I would never buy a new model as I couldn't afford to keep changing them.
I only bought this motor last Tuesday. I know the previous two owners. Its a 2001 156 Sportwagon 2.0TS. Im not sure if its a Lusso or just a TS with leather as the log book doesn't indicate which.
Its low mileage with an engine thats only done 12k miles and so far I am very impressed. There's plenty to do to keep me interested.
