Just bought my first ever alfa, a GTV 3.0 V6. Absolutely loving the engine but slightly concerned about the brakes and some knocks from the rear suspension.
I'm in the St Andrews area, looking forward to getting involved in the alfa scene.
Brakes will need looking at by some that knows what they are doing, the knocking rear suspension can be fixed cheapest and best using Powerflex bushes, make sure you replace all 8
Brakes work fine but just need the mushy feel taken out. I think some uprated pads and braided hoses will do the trick.
Taking mine to McLennans in Edinburgh for a full service and to check that I haven't bought a complete lemon! So far the only problem is stopping myself driving it all the time and using all that fuel.
