Hello fellow Alfalicted
We are all in the same bag, we love them despite all the crap things
we just keep loving them and coming back for more!
For me it started with the sight (and smell???) of a beautifully restored late 60's Spider sitting baking in the sun of a beautiful June day about 20 odd years ago...suddenly I became alfalicted...that was what a real sports car was supposed to look like !
Drove a 33, liked it, traded up my (totally dying) fiat for a 155 Lusso, loved it despite all it's idiosynchrasies, dallied with a few other makes for a while before persuading my company to give me a 146Ti (affectionately referred to as 'the bucket'.....it wasn't) drove it like a granny to about 60K then started driving it properly till it died at about 120K (it was a company carafter all!). Had a new Celica (planted but gutless) and a Subaru (light blue touchpaper and hang on!) but was delighted when my dearest suggested I get her a 156 to run around in....now here's the rub, I ended up swapping her the Sub for the Alfa...yes I am that far gone....

Now back to the matter in hand....running rough at idle...clean my MAF???
