General Info for newbie in New Zealand
Hi folks,
I am happy to be on the forum here and welcome any information about my 1994 155 2.5 V6 here in New Zealand.
Parts suppliers, performance tuners, and any information about the car itself.
Any option code databases, or VIN decoders to tell me exactly what options (if any) were installed on my car from the factory.
Just interested in any info and what's available here.
Glad to see this forum and all the posts.
Cheers,
Michael aka prova5

Re: General Info for newbie in New Zealand
Hi Steve,
Actually I bought the car from the fella in Auckland - I'm in Golden Bay. Have done nothing to the car yet except take the trailer bar off. It weighed about 25 kg!
Yes, the exhaust has been replaced - somewhere in it's previous ownership. I have no idea what it is, but it sounds pretty good. :-)
Imagine two guys from New Zealand on the forum, any others you know of?
Cheers,
Michael

Re: General Info for newbie in New Zealand
Steve,
Yeh, the towbar hitch was butt ugly - I just hated it sticking out the back. And who would use a 155 for towing anything.
Oh us crazy kiwis.
Are you a member of the NZ Alfa club? I joined the Canterbury Car Club since we can get our cars on Ruapuna race track - at half price. Such fun.
Cheers!

Re: General Info for newbie in New Zealand
The AROC NZ is better organized on the North Island - not much happening here down south. In fact, the regional people never answered my inquiries. And they don't do much track stuff except for the Trefeo series which is too competitive for my 155 which is a daily driver.
No plans to do anything to the car at the moment. The V6 engine is sweet as it is, although a bit more power would always be nice - but I'll never be faster than the Subaru WRX's, so what's the point of doing anything? You can email be direct so as lnot to clutter up the forum. irnstrw at yahoo dot com
Cheers
